The IBLA has arrived in Southern California!

The Interstate Box Lacrosse Association is thrilled to announce the 2019 expansion region of RBLL- California!

Perfect weather and box lacrosse combined sounds like paradise! RBLL- California will consist of two teams in Orange County playing a best of seven series in the opening 2019 season. California features an exciting and vast amount of future expansion possibilities across the state in the future. In addition, RBLL- California will be the official hosts of the 2019 IBLA Nationals in October, 2019!

The IBLA is heading into their fourth season in 2019, with regional divisions across the country. The winner of each region will attend the 2019 IBLA Nationals in Southern California. The IBLA uses real Canadian box lacrosse rules from the CLA Rulebook. Teams consist of General Managers, Coaches, and Trainers and players compete in front of local hometown crowds. All players over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.

The IBLA most recently partnered with the NLL to provide players, coaches, and officials the opportunity to showcase their skills to make the jump to the NLL.

In 2020, the IBLA expanded RBLL- California with a new team, the San Diego Whalers. The Whalers won the regional championship in 2020.

The 2021 season is set to begin in July.
